We are always happy to review samples of your work with a view to publishing
your photographs on our website.
You would receive full payment for any image
purchased through us as we do not work on an agency fee basis.
IMPORTANT
.: As of January 2007 and due to the number of contributing photographers
already displaying and selling their work, we cannot unfortunately accept any
more contributions without applying a charge somewhere along the line, as apart
from the time involved in editing, resampling, uploading and administration, our
bandwidth charges have gone sky high and we cannot afford to subsidise this as
a completely free service any longer.
We still do not want to add a comission
to the sale of each photograph though and want every photographer to receive 100%
of their sale but would like to offer a one-off set up and hosting charge of $78.50
/ £40.00 for hosting and displaying with view to sales, of up to 1,000 photographs
per contributor. This would not be an annual charge, simply a one-off, life-long
membership fee. Once you have joined and submitted any quantity of photographs,
you may add to them whenever you choose to do so. It doesn't have to be done all
at once.
If this is of interest to you, please read the 'instructions for
submissions' instructions below as even with a one-off charge, we can still only
accept images that will be of high enough quality for our clients.
The
fixed amount you would receive on a 'royalty free' basis is $78.50 USD / £40.00
GBP, 'rights managed' $157.00 / £80.00 per image, although this may decrease
if the customer wishes to purchase multiple images as they receive discounts for
multiple images purchased, (please refer to 'pricing').
Instructions
for submissions:
If you are interested in displaying your work here with
view to customers purchasing the rights to use your photographs, then in the first
instance, please email us at the below address attaching 2 photos in jpg format
no larger than 1MB each in file size. These do not have to be your high res' images
but just suitable for us to get an idea of the quality of your work.
If we
feel your work is saleable as stock photography, we will ask for a high res' sample
which should be saved as a jpg at 300dpi to A4 size (297mm x 210mm) or around
6000 pixels longest side. This is so that we can check the resolution and that
it will reproduce to print up to A4 size clearly and of high enough quality for
our clients and potential clients.
Please note that to avoid 'spamming', you
will need to copy and paste the email address to your email client.
Once
approved .: Your images will be available to view and for sale online within 72
hours.
In order for you to view solely your images, you will be given an ID
which you can type into the search box.
