We began back in 2003 with an image library cornering a niche in the
market for low cost but high quality royalty free high resolution flower
photos. The response was fantastic if a little slow to start but by
the end of 2004, we had added to our portfolio clients such as Boots,
Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire Life, the RHS, and quite a few publishers
like The Meredith Corporation USA.
We were inundatedby photographers wanting to post their photography
to us but many were not plant and flower related, however, we did keep
their names on record and when the time felt right and we had enough
images to cover all themes imagineable and not just flowers, we created
this site. We have continued with the belief that royalty free high
quality photographs should not be restrictive to some if not most simply
because of the cost involved.
How are we so reasonably priced? Because the photographer gets every
penny of the sale. pic™
receives nothing.
There are no agency fees, so you pay only for the image, not the agency
and the image!
Perhaps one day, other images libraries may feel the pressure of our
website and decide that the only way for them to continue is by bringing
their prices right down. Perhaps here, begins a rebelion!
